Cycle Chelan - Saturday June 20, 2026- Chelan River Park at 7:00am Rotary Club Meeting - In Person & ZOOM - Tuesdays at 11:45am - Sorrento’s Rotary/KOZI Golden Egg Hunt - Saturday April 4, 2026
Dear Visitor,
Welcome to the Lake Chelan Rotary Club! Rotary began in Chicago over 119 years ago in 1905. Our own club was founded in 1926. As we approach our 100 year anniversary of service to the Lake Chelan Valley in 2026, we continue to follow the motto of “Service above Self” to build up our local community and communities abroad.
‘What exactly does a Lake Chelan Rotarian do?’ you may ask. You will find us in the Lake Chelan Valley, reading to students in elementary school classrooms, cleaning up trash on the highway or at a local park, teaching high school students about entrepreneurship, giving annual scholarships at Chelan and Manson high schools, at Earth Day promoting how we can preserve planet Earth, and in Kenya building schools, bathrooms, and water tanks for rural villages.
Internationally, Rotary is a service organization composed of 1.2M neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Moving forward the Rotary International theme will be “Unite for Good”. Each Rotarian shares their talents, treasure or time to make an impact that collectively makes a big difference in the community. Our goal is to Unite through our service projects and make the lives of those in our community and around the world better.
Are you interested in learning more about an organization of “people of action” who create lasting change? If so, please email me and plan on attending one of our lunch meetings to learn more.
Yours in Service,
Hailey Allen
Lake Chelan Rotary President, 2025-2026
Rotary Causes
The work of Rotary begins in the community, and every community has its own unique needs and concerns. While we serve in countless ways, we’ve focused our efforts on seven Causes to maximize our impact. These Causes encompass some of the world’s most critical and widespread humanitarian needs, and we have a proven record of success in addressing them:
