Eligibility

Do you have a Family Member who is a member of Lake Chelan Rotary?*

As someone who has a family member who is a member of Lake Chelan Rotary, you are not eligible to apply for a Rotary Scholarship.

A Family Member is defined as: son, daughter, mother, father, sister, brother, grandparents, aunt, uncle, niece and nephew, domestic partner, legal guardian and in-laws of the same categories. If the answer to this question is YES please contact Mary Ann Warren at 509-682 4530.

Which Scholarship Are You Applying For?

If you are considering applying for a Shine On scholarship, please choose that option and fill out the application. Let us know which school you are considering attending. The committee may consider you for a Technical or Academic scholarship instead. You will be eligible for one scholarship award. If you have any questions, please discuss with your school counselor.
Make Your Choice*
Academic: for students intending to pursue a traditional four-year college or university degree. Technical: for students planning on pursuing career and technical (CTE) degrees, certificates, and credentials at accredited trade/technical schools. Shine On: specifically intended to assist graduating seniors who have overcome significant adversity in life and have reached their goal of graduating from high school.

Gap Year?

If you are taking a gap year your application will be considered with your class, but the scholarship will be paid when you have notified the Lake Chelan Rotary that you have registered in a college or technical school.
Will you be taking a gap year between high school and beginning your post high school studies?*
If you are taking a gap year your application will be considered for a scholarship beginning in the year you are planning on continuing your education. Complete and return this application now but you will need to notify Lake Chelan Rotary in February/March of the year you are starting college or technical training.
