Please join Luke Evans in learning about financial literacy, and youth financial education in particular, as informed by Luke’s experience as a board member of Young Adult Consumer Education Trust. The Trust is working with educators in the North Central Washington region to better prepare youth to make sound financial decisions.
Luke Evans, a Chelan native, spent 14 years in corporate finance working through the credit crisis in Scotiabank’s New York office as a Director in U.S. Asset Backed Finance. Luke returned to north central Washington in 2016 and recently joined the board of Young Adult Consumer Education Trust (YACET), a Wenatchee based non-profit whose mission is to “promote and foster wise spending habits, financial discipline and fiscal knowledge in young adults.” Luke also serves as Treasurer of the Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Favorite pastimes include backpacking in the Cascades, ping pong, and listening to music. Luke is the son of Denny Evans and brother of Guy Evans.
