Join Rachael Goldie, administrator for the Chelan Valley Housing Trust (CVHT), for an informative overview of CVHT’s mission and evolution. The Trust is planning its first project of seventeen homes at the Chelan Lookout and plans to break ground later in 2019. CVHT follows a well-travelled path behind many other successful land trusts in the state. The land trust model preserves affordability in a community through local donations and deed-restricted home ownership. In addition to Rachael, CVHT Board President, Tim Hollingsworth, and board members Charlie Guildner, Sandy Calicoat, and Guy Evans will also take part in the presentation.
Rachael Goldie is a 4th generation Chelan Valley resident who became an advocate for affordable homes after returning home and seeing the extreme barriers to adequate housing for hard working residents.
